About Ponte Vecchio Gioielli
It was the 1960s when Ugo Calà was little more than a child, and in his spare time, he helped his father in the barbershop next to the Ponte Vecchio.
That small barber shop was frequented by the best goldsmiths in the city who made beautiful jewels for the most prestigious international brands. Going against his father's will, the young Ugo thus became an apprentice to one of the most famous jewelers of the Ponte Vecchio. After years of apprenticeship, combining the secrets of the secular Florentine goldsmith's art, with an idea of ??fashion in step with the times, Ugo decides to create the company that in the years to come becomes an important reference in the world of jewelry: Ponte Vecchio Gioielli.
In 2015 the brand was acquired by bros manifatture, A company with over 40 years of experience in the sector. This group leader in jewellery with a wide target audience has a presence in more than 30 countries worldwide and is already the owner of a number of brands including Brosway, S’agapõ and Rosato.
